With the Mercedes-Benz wallbox, the intelligent and networked charging station comes to your home. With our powerful AC charging system, you can charge your EQS Saloon with up to 22 kW (3-phase) as an option* and thus many times faster than at a household socket. With the Mercedes-Benz wallbox, you can also control and view the charging processes via the Mercedes me app. The installation of the wallbox, subject to a charge, can be carried out by, among others, our own installation partner, who will be happy to answer all your questions on the subject of "charging at home".
On the road, charge the EQS Saloon with Mercedes me Charge at public charging stations. While you go about your intended business calmly, your vehicle can charge at AC charging stations with a charging power of up to 11 kW (optionally up to 22 kW). On longer journeys, you can often use direct current (DC) fast charging stations, which can be found at many motorway service stations as well as in an increasing number of larger cities. You can also use the IONITY high-power charging network along all of Europe's major transport axes. With the EQS Saloon, you can charge completely free of charge in the first Mercedes me Charge contract year - thanks to IONITY Unlimited.
With NewMotion's cloud-connected charging stations, you can turn your company's car park into a smart charging location. In addition, all tools are provided for easy management of your charging stations.
Through the remote and navigation services, we bundle many useful services that support everyday life as an electric vehicle user. For example, the navigation with Electric Intelligence gives you the corresponding range security, as it simply integrates the planning of the optimal charging stops into the route planning. A lot of information, such as the battery charge level or the remaining range, can also be called up easily while on the move using the Mercedes me app. This way, you always have the best information to hand and can relax, even if you have a longer journey ahead of you.
During the journey, the Active Range Assistant continuously monitors whether the destination entered can be reached with the current battery charge level. If the battery level is too low, the system tries to find alternative routes. In the COMFORT and SPORT drive programs, Active Range Assist advises you to switch to a more efficient drive program or recommends the maximum speed at which you can still reach your destination.
With Mercedes me Charge* , the charging process is subsequently greened. We use high-quality certificates of origin to ensure that electricity from renewable energy sources is fed back into the grid for all charging volumes that flow via Mercedes me Charge.
This app supports you in the use and optimisation of your electric vehicle on the basis of real data. Related to your individual driving, charging and parking activities, helpful tips and explanations are provided on how to use your vehicle in a sustainable and resource-saving way.
The system can recognise suitable parking spaces and helps you to drive or reverse into end-on parking spaces by taking over the steering for you. Parking Assist PARKTRONIC also monitors the surroundings when manoeuvring, for example in multi-story car parks. As part of this, the system provides visual and audible warnings of detected obstacles – as a result you can avoid annoying and expensive damage.
Keeping an eye out: thanks to intelligent linking of camera and map data, Traffic Sign Assist is not only able to detect maximum permissible speeds, overtaking restrictions and when they are lifted. It is additionally able to respond to red traffic lights, stop signs and no-entry restrictions, and warn you to prevent inadvertent disregardng of a stop sign or no-entry sign.

An electric motor each at the front axle and rear axle convert electrical into mechanical energy, and deliver impressive acceleration. The operating strategy of the drive system components always provides the power wherever it is needed at any one moment – efficiently and virtually silently.
